A ERO Basic course is a comprehensive training program designed to educate employees within an organization as Emergency Response Officers (EROs). The objective of the course is to equip these employees with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively respond to emergency situations in the workplace.
A BHV course is an investment in the safety and well-being of both employees and visitors in the workplace or individuals in your surroundings. It ensures that as a Basic Emergency Response Provider, you are prepared for unforeseen circumstances and able to respond quickly and effectively, ultimately contributing to minimizing injuries and damages. Taking a BHV course is not only a requirement but, above all, a responsibility that ensures the safety of an organization and your environment.
If you already possess a valid BHV certificate (obtained less than 12 months ago), you are required to take a BHV Refresher course. In this case, you do not need to take the Basic course again.

Course content
The course includes e-learning. Upon purchasing our course, you will receive a login for this e-learning. This provides you with the theory that we cover during the courses, ensuring that you are well-prepared. We recommend dedicating a minimum of 3 hours to the online theory. At the end of the e-learning, the material covered is tested through an exam.
Practice day
During the practice day, Life-saving First Aid and Fire Evacuation and Communication will be covered. The practical day lasts the entire day and is divided into 2 sessions. Practical exercises are conducted in groups of up to 3 people. Remember, one Ero is no Ero!
During the first part of the day, you will receive practical exercises in Life-saving First Aid. Here, you will learn everything you need to know about First Aid and acquire skills to be prepared for various situations. For instance, you will receive instructions on the best approach to the victim, how to apply bandages, and practice CPR with an AED (using a mannequin).
The second part of the day focuses on Fire Evacuation and Communication. Here, you will engage in practical exercises involving fire extinguishers, fire safety, and approaches to different types of fires. You will also practice various real-life situations, such as extinguishing small bin fires, dealing with a person on fire (mannequin), and using our own training props with real fire.
We will provide a comprehensive lunch on this day, and coffee/tea will be included.
