All equipment that poses an electrical risk must be inspected, such as: electrical hand tools, machines, appliances, extension cords, aids, protective equipment, and (insulated) tools. The higher the electrical risk, the more frequently it must be inspected.

What should I pay attention to when purchasing electrical tools?

  • Does the device have a CE (Conformité Européenne) mark?
  • Is it suitable for professional use?
  • Is there a user manual included?
  • What PPE (personal protective equipment) should I use?
  • Are there any damages to the device?

  • Does the built-in safety mechanism function properly?

Take the time to carefully inspect the device to ensure it can be used safely!

  • Built-in safety mechanisms that no longer function;
