What equipment must be inspected in accordance with NEN3140?
All equipment that poses an electrical risk must be inspected, such as: electrical hand tools, machines, appliances, extension cords, aids, protective equipment, and (insulated) tools. The higher the electrical risk, the more frequently it must be inspected.
What should I pay attention to when purchasing electrical tools?

- Is it suitable for professional use?
- Is there a user manual included?
- What PPE (personal protective equipment) should I use?
- Are there any damages to the device?
- Does the device function properly?
