A BHV refresher course is designed for individuals who have previously completed a full BHV basic course and wish to renew their BHV certification while refreshing their knowledge and skills. This is necessary because a BHV certificate is valid for 12 months.
If you do not have a valid BHV certificate, you should opt for a BHV Basic course.
The BHV refresher course is intended to ensure that BHV responders keep their knowledge and skills up-to-date, enabling them to effectively respond during emergency situations in the workplace. The content of a BHV refresher course is similar to the basic BHV course, but it focuses more on revisiting and reinforcing previously learned topics.

Course content
The course includes e-learning. Upon purchasing our course, you will receive a login for this e-learning. Through this platform, we provide the theoretical content of the courses to refresh your knowledge with the latest information. We recommend dedicating a minimum of 3 hours to online theory. At the end of the e-learning, the material covered will be assessed through an exam.
Practice day
During the practice day, Life-saving First Aid and Fire Evacuation and Communication will be covered. The practical day lasts the entire day and is divided into 2 sessions. Practical exercises are conducted in groups of up to 3 people. Remember, one Ero is no Ero!
During the first part of the day, you will receive practical exercises in Life-saving First Aid. Here, you will learn everything you need to know about First Aid and acquire skills to be prepared for various situations. For instance, you will receive instructions on the best approach to the victim, how to apply bandages, and practice CPR with an AED (using a mannequin).
The second part of the day focuses on Fire Evacuation and Communication. Here, you will engage in practical exercises involving fire extinguishers, fire safety, and approaches to different types of fires. You will also practice various real-life situations, such as extinguishing small bin fires, dealing with a person on fire (mannequin), and using our own training props with real fire.
We will provide a comprehensive lunch on this day, and coffee/tea will be included.
