Free Safety Scan

In its simplest form, when creating a risk analysis regarding Safe Working, we ask the following questions:

  • What roles exist in logistics?
  • What expertise and training/toolbox meetings are required for various roles?
  • What expertise, training, and toolbox meetings have employees already attended?
  • What competencies and personal protective equipment (PPE) do employees have, and what competencies are lacking?
  • Are the personal objectives and ambitions of the employees known?

Based on the answers to these questions and the discussions held, we will develop a training plan for your organization free of charge.

The 5S method, what is it?

The 5S method is an approach aimed at improving the organization with the workplace as a starting point. By optimizing it, we counteract wastage and lay the foundation for quality. The 5S method offers several benefits, as a well-organized workspace and environment are not only safer but also more efficient. It is a method used for workplace organization and provides a basis in the continuous improvement process. Implementing the 5S method will positively contribute to the business results.

The term “5S” refers to five Japanese words that describe a standardized approach to “cleaning.” This concept is used within Lean manufacturing:

  1. Seiri (ÕûÀí) = Sort and tidy: Eliminate unnecessary items and keep only what is necessary for current activities.
  2. Seiton (ÕûîD) = Set in order: Place the necessary items in a logical and efficient manner for easy access.
  3. Seis¨ (Çå’ß) = Shine and inspect: Keep the workplace clean and regularly inspect to quickly identify issues.
  4. Seiketsu (Çå) = Standardize: Develop and maintain standard procedures to keep an organized and efficient work environment.
  5. Shitsuke (Üz) = Sustain: Maintain the achieved improvements and encourage a culture of continuous improvement.

Neglect and lack of cleanliness easily lead to accidents. The 5S system aims for a clean, well-organized, and clear workplace, which automatically improves occupational safety.
