For an In-Company course, the location must meet a number of specific requirements.
A room with a minimum floor area of 35m² is required for the theory portion:
– the classroom must be able to be darkened or have blackout blinds *
– a beamer (projector) must be available *
– a wall or screen suitable for projection
– a whiteboard or flipchart with appropriate markers *
– sufficient tables and chairs,
for a maximum of 16 participants per group (exception for VCA: max. 25 participants)
For outdoor practical exercises *:
– for First Aid / Basic First Aid – min. 10m² of space without tables and chairs
– for Fire Evacuation (or Alarm Communication), BOC: approx. 15 x 15 meters of open space outside, on private property or public grounds (cordoned off with tape)
- optional depending on the training / course / workshop lesson plan.
Please note! The client is responsible for informing the surroundings about any open fire exercises. In case of safety concerns, this must be communicated to Vuurrood prior to the training date. If permits are required, Vuurrood can assist in arranging these after consultation and for an additional fee.
