Prevention worker

Who is responsible for prevention, which employee?

Organizing prevention within the organization is of occupational health and safety importance. It keeps absenteeism in proportion and of course safety in the workplace. After obtaining this certificate, providing assistance with regard to the Risk Inventory and evaluation with the employer or for the works council is no problem.

Advising and collaborating with stakeholders and involved parties, as well as pointing out errors, is a task of the prevention employee in the workplace. Participating in the implementation of measures that are taken and keeping track of these forms of prevention. It is reassuring for everyone and a must in a company with benefits for employer and employee.

The Working Conditions Act was amended on 1 July 2005 and employers can now choose whether they engage an occupational health and safety service or whether they will arrange a number of occupational health and safety matters themselves. Whichever option you choose as an employer, appointing a prevention officer is mandatory. The prevention officer helps the employer with daily safety and health within the organization.
