Are you traveling by car? Use the following link to plan your route via Google Maps.
1. Travel from The Hague Central Station with bus 28 in the direction of Station Voorburg. The new bus platform at the Central Station is easily accessible via an escalator. The Royal Conservatory, which has always been located right next to the Central Station, will move to the new Amare Cultural Complex on the Spuiplein at the beginning of 2022. In addition to beautiful cultural buildings, the Koekamp is a well-known landmark in The Hague. Originally, this area was the hunting grounds of the Counts of Holland and got its name from the cattle that originally roamed here. In the seventeenth century, these were replaced by deer. (Travel time: 7 minutes)
2) Get off at The Hague Zonweg and continue your journey on foot. (5-minute walk)
3) Walk southwest on Zonweg past Bouwmaat XL toward Binckhorstlaan.
Binckhorstlaan. A true gem here is undoubtedly Kasteel de Binckhorst, a castle from the seventeenth century. The first mention of the castle dates back to 1308, and just nine years later, it was besieged and set on fire. After the uprising against Spain, a new castle was built on the old foundations, complete with a moat, parts of which still exist. Cross the street and turn left to stay on Binckhorstlaan.
4) We move from a rich history to a modern urban neighborhood with a visible past. You will pass the old Fokker Terminal building and Europcar.
5) Turn right onto Junostraat, and your destination will be on the left. Parking on the public road is completely free. Would you prefer to park on the parking deck? This is available for a small fee. We wish you a pleasant day at Vuurrood Veiligheid, Junostraat 6.
Upon arrival, you can use the intercom to call bell number 10. Our hostess will direct you to the second floor, where you can take a seat in the waiting area to your right.
Directions to The Hague Holland Spoor.
Are you traveling by car? Use the following link to determine your route via Google Maps.
1) Walk for about 4 minutes northwest toward the Stationsplein, which you can recognize by the old station building.
Holland Spoor Station is the oldest station in The Hague. The station is named after the former Hollandsche IJzeren Spoorweg-Maatschappij. This large building, the railway station, marked the beginning of the station district.
2) Walk through the station hall toward Waldorpstraat and turn right to stay on Waldorpstraat. Waldorpstraat is known for its large covered shopping boulevard, Megastores, and of course, the campuses of ROC Mondriaan.
3) You are approaching a crossing. Continue walking to the Hollandspoor bus stop and travel further with bus 26 in the direction of Station Voorburg. (5 minutes travel time)
4) Get off at The Hague Zonweg and continue your journey on foot. Walk southwest on Zonweg past Bouwmaat XL toward Binckhorstlaan. Cross here and turn left to stay on Binckhorstlaan. (5-minute walk)
You pass the old Fokker Terminal building. Schiphol developed into a world airport, and the growth of the aircraft industry also accelerated. Plans were developed for a new modern school building on Binckhorst. In 1961, the aviation technology school moved to its new location at Binckhorstlaan 249.
Binckhorstlaan has changed a lot in recent years and will continue to develop even more in the coming years. Since February 2021, the Victory Boogie Woogie Tunnel (Rotterdamsebaan) has been open to traffic. The Rotterdamsebaan mainly benefits traffic to and from Rotterdam, Delft, and Ypenburg.
