Impregnation increases fire safety for you and your surroundings.
Vuurrood Veiligheid provides impregnation products, or if you prefer, one of our technicians can handle the impregnation for you and, if necessary, issue a fire resistance certificate. Our impregnation treatments slow the flammability of various items such as Christmas trees, decorative materials, and curtains.
In spaces with an occupancy permit, fire-retardant impregnation is also legally required. You must always carry out fire-retardant impregnation according to the appropriate NEN standards (NEN 1775-T1, 6065-2, 6065-4, 6940, and 6941).
To determine which product you should use, we distinguish between impregnating:
- Christmas trees and branches
- Synthetic materials (textiles that do not absorb moisture)
- Natural materials (textiles that absorb moisture)
- Artificial plants
- Wood and reed without paint or other coating
- Wood and reed with paint or other coating
- Softboard with or without paint or other coating
