Fire Watch (Including Emergency Services):
In urgent need of a fire watch due to the malfunctioning of the fire alarm system, employee illness, or extended fire-hazardous work activities? Vuurrood Veiligheid provides fire watch services throughout the Netherlands. We offer fire watches for urgent requests and can often start your assignment within two hours.
Consisting of the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Monitoring the safety of work activities;
- Keeping escape routes clear;
- Responding to emergencies;
- Alerting according to established procedures;
- Initiating fire suppression using available fire extinguishing equipment.
We apply a base hourly rate of €65.00 on weekdays between 07:00 and 19:00 for the above-described services. For other hours, weekends, and holidays, we apply the prices and surcharges described below.
- Monday to Friday 19:00 – 07:00 €65,– per hour (for assignments longer than 12 hours, €60,– per hour and a trainee €12,– per hour).
- Friday after 19:00 until Monday 07:00 €75,– per hour. (for assignments longer than 12 hours, €65,– per hour and a trainee €18,– per hour).
- For Ad-Hoc requests (delivery within 24 hours), we apply a 50% surcharge on the applicable rate.
- Holidays 200% of the applicable daily rate.
A Trainee Fire Watch is not yet fully certified with all the necessary qualifications.
Fire-red B.V. / Vuurrood Veiligheid applies the following Delivery and Payment Terms specifically highlighted for the fire watch rental service:
- Amounts are in Euros and exclude 21% VAT and parking fees.
- Breaks are billed.
- The minimum daily order is 4 hours.
- Confirmed and scheduled assignments must be canceled at least 48 hours in advance to avoid charges.
- The project is billed every 7 days.
The general terms and conditions of Fire-red B.V. apply to every service or product of Vuurrood Veiligheid.
We are a fast-growing company specializing in providing well-trained fire watch personnel. The (nationally certified) fire watches of Vuurrood Veiligheid are well-trained and proficient in their field. They stand out for their knowledge, expertise, and experience, as well as their sense of responsibility, dedication, and loyalty. They have several years of industry and work experience.
A nationally certified fire watch has at least the following diplomas, certificates, and qualifications:
- National Fire Watch Diploma/Firefighter A (or higher)
- VCA Basic Certificate
- Basic Emergency Response Certificate (Firefighting, Evacuation, Alarm Communication)
- Basic First Aid Certificate
- Industry and work experience
We also provide fire watches with additional training, including confined space watch (SOG), gas detection EX-OX-TOX (SOG), marine firefighting, event security officer (BHV-events), MBO security guard, fire prevention inspector, personal protection/approved breathing apparatus, hazardous materials scout, chemical suit wearer, fire engine driver, pump operator, working at heights (WOH).
