Rental/Lease of Fire Extinguishers (per month/per year)
We supply your location with certified fire extinguishers. These can be rented per unit on a monthly or yearly basis. You pay a small rental fee, and in the event of actual use, a small additional charge applies if the same fire extinguisher is used a second time within the same calendar year. We replace fire extinguishers every year or every five years, and a certified REOB technician will visit annually for maintenance.
Rental/Lease of Emergency Signaling, Emergency Lighting, and/or Emergency Exit Security
We provide your location with emergency signaling, lighting, and escape route signage, which typically need to be inspected once every four years. This includes escape route markings and/or emergency exit security systems.
Rental/Lease of Security Systems
- Security Systems: CCTV camera surveillance systems.
- Fire Safety Monitoring: Automated fire suppression systems and detectors (BMI).
For activities with fire hazards, we can deploy security surveillance or provide guard services.

Vuurrood Veiligheid places the necessary prevention measures at the contractant’s address according to the Building Decree, Occupational Health and Safety Act, or for residual risks.
- The fire extinguisher is inspected annually, during a month specified by Vuurrood Veiligheid. An appointment will be scheduled prior to the inspection day.
- On the day of inspection, any necessary battery replacements for detectors will be carried out, and the prevention measures will be inspected according to the NEN-EN standard.
- The prevention measures remain the property of Vuurrood Veiligheid, and the contractant is expected to handle them with appropriate care. Should any irregularities occur, Vuurrood Veiligheid is authorized to charge the contractant for replacements.
- If the prevention measures are used, for example, to extinguish a fire, they will be replaced at no cost to the contractant.
- If there is a suspicion of misuse of the prevention measures, a replacement will be charged to the contractant, including call-out fees. This applies, for example, if the measures are used twice within one calendar year.
- If defects occur in the installed items, Vuurrood Veiligheid will repair or replace them at no cost to the contractant. If it is determined that the defect was caused by the contractant’s negligence, the repair costs will be charged.
- If the contractant relocates, they must notify Vuurrood Veiligheid as soon as possible so that the prevention measures can be moved or removed as necessary.
- If it is found that the contractant has not met the conditions outlined in point 7 and the prevention measures cannot be recovered, Vuurrood Veiligheid will charge the contractant the new value of the items.
- The notice period is set at two months before the contract expires. The contract is valid for one (1) year from the date of signing, with the signing date or calendar month being decisive.
- The contract is tacitly renewed for successive one (1) year terms.
- The rental fee may be automatically deducted from the contractant’s account, with the fee being collected on the 10th of each month via direct debit.
- A one-time deposit will be charged, which must be paid at the start of the contract. The deposit will be refunded if the contract is terminated in a timely manner.
- If the contract is not terminated in a timely manner (two months before expiration), the contract will be extended for another one (1) year or month.
- If the contractant fails to meet the payment obligation, a penalty of twice (2) the rental amount for one (1) year/month will be charged.
- If the contractant fails to meet the payment obligation, a collection agency will be engaged, and the costs will be passed on to the contractant.
- The contractant will grant Vuurrood Veiligheid staff access to the premises/building/object to maintain or, if necessary, remove the prevention measures.
- Any drill/screw holes created for the installation of the prevention measures must be repaired by the contractant if the measures are removed.
- The subscription fee will undergo an annual price indexation. The price indexation will be implemented on 01-01 each year. The contractant will be notified at least one month in advance of the fee for the following year. The subscription can only be terminated according to the rules outlined in point 9.
- Vuurrood Veiligheid will designate a control month, which may differ from the month in which this agreement was signed.
- Vuurrood Veiligheid reserves the right to change the control month. However, this may not result in the fire extinguisher being overdue for inspection by more than one month. This change must be communicated to the contractant in writing at least two months before the change takes effect.
- This agreement is subject to the general terms and conditions filed with the Chamber of Commerce in The Hague.
